Markraft Cabinets - Service Technician

Markraft Cabinets is searching for a Cabinet Service Technician. The Service Technician’s principal function is to accurately and safely receive, handle, and deliver customer product in a timely manner, as well as directing the completion of jobs. This should be done in accordance with Markraft’s company policies and procedures and Core Values.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools 
  • Finish carpentry tools

Essential Functions:

  • Tactful communication and professional relationship with Markraft’s customers in resolving issues
  • Being punctual, reliable and dependable 
  • Punch and repair work on previous installations
  • Read pull sheets to ensure complete job packages
  • Walk jobs upon completion and document any issues that need to be addressed during punch, via photos and notes
  • Safe Driving
  • Must be able to follow directions and read maps
  • Keep unblemished driving record, current driver’s license, and current DOT card
  • Deliver products from warehouse to jobsite efficiently and safely
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Strategically locate material in various warehouse locations and jobsites
  • Measure jobs for cabinet purchase/installation
  • Layout jobs on site
  • Compliance w/ MK and statutory safety requirements on jobsites
  • Communicate with internal (scheduler, builder reps, etc.) and external (jobsite foreman, etc) customers to work through issues concerning cabinet installation, quality and completion
  • Ability to work with others as a team
