Position Description

Responsible for learning several aspects of our business including customer service, permitting, project management as well as system administration for our integrated computer system.Work with Builder II / III and corporate office to be trained on IHMS/KOVA system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)

  • Participate in Customer Service follow up with homeowners according to company program.
  • Assist in and observe inspections and meetings while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Work with Builders and other departments as necessary to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other members of the Production team, customers/clients, and trade partners. Where required, monitor work performance of Punch/Merchandising personnel and/or trade partners. Report both positive and constructive feedback to Area Superintendent.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

IHMS / KOVA software

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear, stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: Predominantly works in a variety of completed residential homes, traveling in personal vehicle to each site. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
